In the realm of the craftsman’s domain, wherein labor and artistry intertwine, there did reside various portable workbenches. These humble benches, though commendable for their ability to be stowed away when their services were not required, did prove somewhat inadequate for the prolonged toils of sanding and finishing. Thus, a quest began, leading me to the far-off lands of Home Depot’s online marketplace.
Originally, my journey sought but a simple workbench adorned with wheels and a top that could ascend and descend at will. Yet, as fate would have it, my wandering eyes fell upon a mobile tool chest, offered at a bargain and further reduced by the grace of a military veteran’s discount.

The chest was of such weighty construction that it necessitated aid in its loading into the truck. Upon returning to my abode, I employed the trusty truck crane to deliver the chest directly onto the deck.

I assigned the new tool chest to house the venerable jointer and relocated the elder chest, with its variable height top, to its rightful place in the corner.

And thus, I stand before the new drawers, pondering what treasures they shall soon hold.
