Workshop Mods

The next thing that I had to do was modify the workshop for use.

The modifications included:

Adding Insulation

A deck, ramp, external power and cooling.

A portable AC unit provides basic cooling for the summer.
Power was routed to the shop and lights and power plugs were added both inside and outside.
A ramp was added to the rear entry.
A 12ftx12ft deck was added for extra working and relaxing space.

My favorite workshop mod is Alexa.

With Alexa on my iPad, I can remotely control my:

  • Bridge light
  • Cargo Bay light
  • CNC light
  • Bench light
  • ShopVac (called The Suck)
  • Music playlist

Table saw.
Tools are hung on grid wall for easy access.
Purchased some grid wall panels from a closing store.
