This was my first attempt at designing and making furniture. I chose a couch table because I always liked the idea of a table that could slide up over the cushions of the couch for easier access than a side table would provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was designed in Fusion 360. The design files were exported from F360 as DXF files for the Carbide3D software. 3\/4″ maple plywood was chosen for this project. The individual parts were laid out in a way to minimize waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the parts were cut out and sanded, they were glued together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
